Portal cranes are widely used in ports, docks, yards, and other places to complete loading, unloading, and transfer operations of ships and vehicles carrying goods. Its design, manufacturing, and inspection comply with advanced domestic and international standards such as DIN, FEM, IEC, AWS, GB, as well as the latest national standards.
Portal cranes are divided into two types based on the structure of the boom:
Single boom and four-bar linkage. The single arm gantry crane has a simple structure, a large lifting capacity, and a light self weight. A single arm crane that adopts a one arm support method has its boom at a certain angle to the column, and is driven up and down by hydraulic cylinders. Usually, the length of the boom is long and the support area is small, but it has high rotational flexibility and is suitable for small span operations, but can only achieve movement in a single direction.
The four-bar linkage portal crane adopts a combined boom system to achieve horizontal movement of goods during the amplitude change process, with the characteristics of small horizontal drop, smooth amplitude change, and low power consumption. Suitable for large-scale lifting operations. It has a wider support area, shorter relative arm frame, and can carry greater weight. Both types of portal cranes can meet the loading and unloading requirements of general cargo, bulk cargo, and containers, and have the characteristics of wide application range, high operational efficiency, and stable overall operation. Not only can it move horizontally and vertically, but it can also achieve rotation function, making it more flexible for application.
In addition,floating portal cranes, one is the elephant trunk type boom and the other is the truss type boom, fixed on the ship, self generating, and can move at any time according to the usage situation, which is much more cost-effective compared to simple floating cranes.
In order to overcome the deficiencies in the background technology and solve existing technical problems. Weihua has disclosed a new type of portal crane with variable amplitude stability in2023, which can improve the stability of the variable amplitude process for lifting heavy objects.By connecting the column and the flat arm frame through a pull rod, the flat arm frame can be fixedly installed on the turntable in a horizontal state, and the arm body can withstand a large suspension weight. Therefore, a pulley traction mechanism can be set up to directly drive the lifting trolley to move along the axial direction of the flat arm frame, realizing the amplitude change action of the lifted object. In addition, a tension mechanism is set up to ensure the stability of the pulley traction mechanism operation. Compared with traditional portal cranes, this portal crane has a simpler structure, a more stable amplitude change method, which is easy to maintain and precise control.
