The crane was engineered to handle heavy steel structure components and precast elements at the client's fabrication yard, supporting both material stacking and structural steel assembly workflows.

Before shipment, the gantry crane underwent full load testing at WEIHUA's production yard. As shown in the photos, the 80 ton double girder gantry crane was tested by lifting long steel box-girder sections directly from stacked steel structure inventory, simulating the exact lifting conditions it would face on-site in Turkmenistan — confirming hoisting stability, brake performance, and structural rigidity under rated load.
Due to its size and weight, the 80 ton double girder gantry crane's main structural components were transported as oversized cargo. Flatbed trailers carrying the girder sections, wrapped in protective tarpaulin, traveled under an official large-cargo transport permit — visible on the truck's cab in project photos — ensuring compliant road transport to the port for export to Turkmenistan.
