The HB explosion-proof electric wire rope hoist is designed for safe and efficient lifting operations in hazardous environments. With a lifting capacity range of 1 to 32 tons and a lifting height of 6 to 48 meters, it is suitable for a variety of applications in hazardous locations. The explosion-proof electric hoist features exposed components made of special non-sparking materials, which actively enhance operational safety. Furthermore, it can operate as a standalone unit or be installed on single-girder bridge cranes and suspension cranes within workshops. In addition, when combined with a travel motor, brake, and other mechanical parts, it forms a trolley assembly. This configuration, in turn, enables its installation on double-girder bridge cranes for heavy-load operations.

This explosion-proof electric hoist carries ExdII BT4 and ExdII CT4 certifications. Thereby, it serves extensively in factories that handle combustible gases or vapors, specifically where the explosion protection level is no higher than B or C and the ignition group is no less than T4 (135°C).

Features of Explosion-Proof Hoists

Explosion-Proof Motors: Both the hoisting and travel motors are explosion-proof motors, offering robust, durable, and explosion-proof performance.
Explosion-Proof Hooks: Explosion-proof lifting hooks utilize a standard design but feature special copper plates. If necessary, the hook material can be modified to stainless steel for even higher explosion-proof performance.
Explosion-Proof Electrical: The hoist's electrical box and handle are both explosion-proof and can be customized based on requirements and application conditions. Compared to conventional wire rope hoists, explosion-proof hoists feature larger and heavier electrical boxes, and more robust and waterproof handles.
Explosion-Proof Limiters: Explosion-Proof Hoists feature a high-performance explosion-proof limiter, marked "EX."
Wireless Remote Controls: Explosion-Proof Hoists typically utilize wireless remote controls to ensure safe operation.

Explosion-proof hoists find wide application in hazardous locations prone to fire and explosion, spanning a range of industries from petroleum, petrochemicals, and chemical plants to pharmaceuticals, food processing, shipping, offshore operations, and the power, mining, electronics, and railway sectors.

When operating in explosive gas environments, explosion-proof electric hoists are classified as either Zone 1 or Zone 2 according to GB 3836.14-2000.

Note: Zone 1: Locations where explosive gas environments may occur. Zone 2: Locations where explosive gas environments are unlikely to occur. If they do occur, they will occur only occasionally and for a short period of time.

When operating in combustible dust environments, explosion-proof electric hoists are classified as Zone 21 or Zone 22 according to GB 12476.3-2007.

Note: Zone 21: Locations where combustible dust and air may be mixed. Zone 22: Locations where combustible dust is present only occasionally and for a short period of time.
