CD1 type electric hoist consists of three parts: lifting mechanism, running mechanism, and electric control system.
The hoisting mechanism includes driving, braking, transmission, and a picking-up and winding device. The driving and braking device adopts a squirrel cage conical brake motor, whose rotor, stator, and brake are all conical in structure. MD-type hoist is equipped with a double motor set, which realizes a 1:10 speed ratio through gear reduction. The transmission is a four-stage cylindrical gear reducer, and the pick-up device consists of a hook, a wire rope, and a drum. The overall layout is that the reel is centered, one end is connected to the conical brake motor, and the other end is connected to the gear reducer, connected by a long shaft and rubber coupling. The reel shell is cylindrical and is divided into hanging type and fixed type.
The running mechanism (hoist trolley) consists of a drive, a brake, a transmission, and a wheel unit. The driving and braking device also adopts a squirrel-cage conical brake motor, and the brake is flat. The drive unit adopts an open and closed cylindrical gear reducer, and the low-speed gears are made up of directly milled teeth from the wheel rims. The wheels are single-rimmed steel wheels with an approximate conical tread. The running trolley is divided into three types: manual, chain, and electric.

The main difference between the CD1 type and MD1 type electric hoist is the hoisting motor and control electrics; the rest of the accessories and components are common. CD1 type electric hoist is single-speed lifting and lowering, which is suitable for general lifting operations; MD1 type electric hoist is double-speed lifting and lowering (normal speed and low speed), which is suitable for precision operations, such as precision loading and unloading, sand box stacking and machine tool maintenance, etc, and the precise operation is realized through low-speed control.
