Light Cranes
Column Jib Crane is a widely used jib crane for light lifting tasks, equipped with an electric hoist, suitable for workshops, warehouses, and other scenarios. Its core supporting part is the column, which is usually made of high-strength steel to ensure enough strength and stability to withstand various loads. According to the different installation methods, Column Jib Crane is mainly categorized into two types: fixed and mobile. Fixed columns are firmly fixed to the ground, while mobile types are mounted on a removable base for flexible position adjustment.
As a horizontal extension structure, the length of the jib can be customized according to the actual demand, and it can extend and retract within a specific range to adapt to the lifting needs of different working areas. The design of the cantilever takes into account the load-carrying capacity to ensure that it can effectively cope with weight, torque, and other external forces when lifting heavy objects.
The Column Jib Crane's slewing device is mounted at the connection between the column and the jib and adopts high-precision slewing support technology to ensure that the jib can rotate smoothly to cover a larger working area. This design not only enhances the flexibility of the equipment but also realizes the precise positioning of heavy loads, which greatly improves the working efficiency. Whether it is used for material handling, equipment installation, or high-frequency operations on production lines, the Column Jib Crane provides users with efficient and reliable lifting support to meet diversified industrial needs with its stable performance and flexible operation.
Column Jib Crane is mainly divided into two types: fixed column jib crane and mobile column jib crane. Both types are equipped with electric hoists and high-precision slewing devices, supporting flexible operation and precise positioning to meet the lifting needs of different industrial scenarios.
A fixed column jib crane is a stationary lifting system with a vertical mast fixed to the floor or foundation, supporting a rotating boom. Typical capacity ranges from 0.25 to 5 tons, with a span of up to 8 meters. It offers 180°–360° rotation, ideal for precise, repetitive lifting in confined spaces. Commonly used in workshops, assembly lines, and loading bays, it provides cost-effective, space-efficient material handling. Unlike mobile versions, it lacks portability but ensures higher stability for heavy-duty operations.

A mobile column jib crane features a movable base with casters, allowing relocation across workstations. Capacity typically ranges from 0.25 to 2 tons, with spans up to 6 meters. It provides 180°–360° rotation and flexible positioning for dynamic lifting needs. Ideal for warehouses, maintenance shops, and production areas requiring adaptable material handling. Unlike fixed models, it offers portability but has lower load capacity and requires a stable floor for safe operation.

High flexibility: Since the cantilever can rotate and retract, it can cover a large working area in a relatively small space. This makes it very suitable for places where space is limited, but multi-point lifting operations are required
Easy to operate: Can easily control the lifting, rotation, and cantilever extension on the ground or a suitable operating platform. Moreover, the operation interface is relatively simple.
Simple installation: The column cantilever crane is easier to install. It does not require complex foundation engineering. Generally, it only needs to firmly fix the column on the ground or a suitable foundation. The installation cycle is short and it can be put into use quickly.
Low cost: Both the purchase cost of the equipment and the installation and maintenance costs are relatively low. Its structure is relatively simple, and the cost of parts is not high.
Manufacturing industry
In workshops of machinery manufacturing, automobile manufacturing, and other industries, floor-mounted jib cranes are used to move parts, raw materials, etc. For example, it could move small processed parts from one machine tool to another, or move raw materials from the warehouse to the production line.
Warehousing logistics
It is for loading, unloading, and stacking goods in the warehouse. It can easily lift or put down goods from the shelves, improving the utilization rate of storage space and efficiency.
Maintenance workshop
In equipment maintenance workshops, it could lift and move heavier equipment parts to facilitate maintenance personnel to perform maintenance operations. For example, in the maintenance of large mechanical equipment, damaged parts are lifted for replacement or repair.
